Kinja'd!!!1 Kinja'd!!! 13

Twice in the last couple months there have been police reports of a man in a black car approaching girls and asking if they need rides. Like, little girls. Thankfully, knew better and told an adult each time. First time the car was reported as a Honda, the second time an Acura. So what model is likely to be confused? I remember 90s integra and prelude being very similar. What else?

Edit: usdm, yo! And thanks!

Legend & Accord were pretty close in appearance.

Are you in Canada? The Acura EL and CSX come to mind

But if they later describe it as a Ford, Infiniti, or Mercedes, then all bets are off :/

No really though, good luck

Unfortunately, there are a number of Acura’s in the world which have been rebranded as Honda (JDM yo!) and vice versa ( USDM? Yo?). I can’t even count the number of Acura RSX’s I have seen with Honda Integra badging. And depending on where you are (Canada? close to it?) this gets even more confusing.

Not trying to muddy the waters, but a situation like this could sadly help to add to the confusion.

I’m gonna say TL and Accord, if for no other reason than sheer commonness of both. Even the current ILX and Accord could resemble each other. But I still struggle with how poor most car descriptions are...it's like "it was a guy, maybe black, maybe white, between 5 and 6 feet tall...he had a hat on."

Especially off little kids in this case. Lucky it was the same(ish) manufacturer

Good call...I was assuming there were other witnesses. If this is from the kids, I’ll give them a pass.

Not positive from the police reports, but the first one was little girls who told their parents a couple days later (Honda). Second one the girls were a bit older, reported an Acura, and cops searched the area. So not sure if other witnesses in that one.
